The Bionic looks good, but it could already be behind the curve technology wise. Anyway, I’ll check it out. Great information, and I’ll bookmark the site.

The pentile screen gets negative comments because most people haven’t even seen one they go off of other peoples comments. Go to Verizon and look at the droid 3 it is not anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be and this is coming from someone that can notice if someones hdtv is not hooked up right within a few seconds of watching it so I should notice. The pentile screen also gets better battery life so you can either have a screen that is good with good battery life or great with poor battery life not both, at least yet.

Well we know the SGS2 is coming in August right? Why isn’t that on this list?

For me, the Bionic is DOA unless they really up the ante from what has been leaked. It’s down to:

SGS2
HTC Vigor
Xperia Duo
Nexus 3

Since the Sammy and the HTC are likely to be the first two of those four, I will pick one of those up UNLESS there is some solid information on the Nexus 3, which is what I think we really should be waiting for.

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2 (64GB) and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $674 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Why are we all just ruling out the Bionic already before it is even out. Yes there are other phones leaked out in the road map, but still there is no official info on the Bionic and I for one am done playing the waiting game. Once the Bionic is out that is what I am getting. Had an upgrade sine Aug 2010. You can all wait and wait and wait while I enjoy my dual core LTE phone.

LMAO, you are an idiot. Huge reception problems? i never had an issue with reception on my thunderbolt. Low storage? thunderbolt is the highest amount of storage out of the box (40GB). laggy? every single phone lags. the only one that hasn’t shown lag is the G2X. Sense is a preference. you like it or you don’t, but i’m going to to say that most people do like Sense over the other custom UI’s. Ancient isn’t a word i would use to describe the best processor out(Vigor). Tell us what phone you have?

You mean two of the most disappointing phones out there right now.

HTC’s are not worth buying till the Krait’s come and by then they’ll be passed by anyway.

Huge reception problems, low storage, defective screens, laggy, sense hogging resources, ancient cpu, browser/web below the competition, small batteries, just all around fail by HTC.

Evo3d at 1.8ghz still benchmarks crappy, yeah benchmarks are not everything but that’s the main reason all you geeks want a SGS2 because without that it’s just a cheap Samsung with nothing special about it.
