CM7 for DX2 by Dragonzkiller is great! It’s currently Alpha, but for being an Alpha release, it works great. The external SD card isn’t accessible unless you go in and modify the vold.fstab file. The real show stopper might be bluetooth which isn’t working right now. Also, there seems to be an issue with one of the CPUs maxing out at 100% constantly when the phone is active and not in sleep mode which causes the battery to drain quickly. On standby, the battery seems to last pretty good. But, as I said, Dragonzkiller is working hard on it.

I got a DX2 from Asurian when my DX got caught in the rain. I requested a DX2. I’m wondering if the DX was better choice!?

1GB of RAM rarely comes in handy, if ever for the majority of users.

Just like how your waiting for the Bionic based on hype. And what is hype? oh yeah, it’s hearsay and not from your own personal experience.

But yeah, I’ve used the DX2 and it lags just like the DX. Because it’s basically the same device except for the dual core and bump in camera. Oh and that’s what most other people are saying also.

I should never have sold it. I sold my DX right before the 4G phones were released thinking I was obviously going to upgrade. I regretted it ever since! The thunderbolt and charge could never have replaced my X!

I finally flashed Liberty on my OC’ed DX and I swear this phone is better than ever. I’very got an upgrade in December and again in April, and have absolutely NO PROBLEM waiting until then for a phone that makes the SGSII and Bionic look like the circa 2001 SCH-I300 Palm phone. Love liberty MOD!

VZW sent me a refurb DX2 because I continued having call completion problems with the refurbished DXs they sent me. The DX2 forum on Motorola’s site is not very active. I think a lot of people didn’t see a big enough reason to go from the DX to the DX2 and are holding out for the Bionic or the Samsung G2S.
