i got it installed very recently on a droid x . to date im very dissatisfied w/ droids … so for me this new o s is kinda salt on a exsisting wound. I now faced w/ relearning where or how to relate to my device for apps and these new profiles ? …. I have had multiple droids in 14 months so…… if anyone has suggestions as to what might be more stable and not drop calls and have constant software flashes whew i am forced pull to remove batteries . I t was very embarrassing when it called back people who might have been my emplyer????

That is interesting… because (after clearing all the widgets and changing the launcher), I have exactly ZERO items in my active list that .blur Matter of fact the only one that I continue to have running is the Social app (which I agree is annoying that it starts up and you cannot stop it or it simply restarts). Matter of fact, I have very few instances (but yes they do happen) where my X “slows to a crawl” unless I am opening app after app and getting a bit ahead of the memory cleanup… but even then, I wait a few seconds and Android handles that quite well.

Moto’s camera… whether it is software or hardware based in nature… just plain sucks. I agree. There is no disputing that fact.

I had no signal dropping issues with my Droid X until Gingerbread. Not a single instance. So, I will simply have to take your word for it that others have.

I’m not saying you are lying about your experiences, but I simply find it not to be the case.
