Umm… my Asus Transformer shipped to me in late may and it came with sd card support already baked in. For another nearly stock Honeycomb tablet, why is Moto passing the buck onto Google on this ? Is Asus so smart that they figured this thing out ahead of both Moto and Google ?

They say LTE is working on the Galaxy but I have yet to see it. The only ones out now are Wifi only. They say the 4G version is coming soon, just like the Xoom LTE update. I played with the WiFi version of the Galaxy today and honestly I like the Xoom better. It is just made better. They Galaxy remindsme too much of an IPad. The back is plastic and it feels cheap. It was also laggy compared to the Xoom. The only thing I reallyliked was the screen, even if it is not GorillaGlass.

Hmm, well I havent checked out the Transformer yet…ill check out my local BB, they really seem to get devices pretty quick. Picked up the Flyer there for my kid, love using that little thing, but now I’m getting close to getting myself one, finally…

Only because they implemented a hack (a work around) similar to what the devs did for the Xoom.

Have you looked into the Transformer? Supplies are getting easier to find and it has a working SD slot (on the dock) and a working MicroSD slot (on the tab itself). No 4G though.

Oh no I meant if the Xoom came out loaded with everything it was supposed to, I would’ve bought one and been using it right now. I just couldnt see paying top $ and not have it equipped the way it was advertised and furthermore having to send it out. But although I have a pre-order for the Sam.Tab10.1, if the Xoom gets it together in time I may still get one…we’ll see…

Same as me… OG droid is getting replaced by Galaxy S2, and my Xoom is gonna stay with me mainly because I dropped a ton of money on it… But even though it works pretty well, im disappointed with the updates. Of course Im not pissed enough to go Apple though…

I’d rather them not do a temporary fix, as it would only delay the actual fix. Just as Asus and Acer users had to wait weeks for 3.1. Just wait, they’ll have a long wait once Google applies their own solution, and those manufacturers have to go back and strip there hacks.

Agreed about Honeycomb. They still could do a temporary fix, like they are doing for the non-US Xoom.

I have a Xoom and this makes me to never again buy a Motorola product.. The CEO has a backbone of a chicken noodle and they are giving us the run around. It’s just not good business.

You telling me that Canadians, Europeaners, get updated before the U.S.? What is the world coming to?
