I got my Flyer and stylus on Saturday. I was bummed that the stylus was extra as that was one of the main reasons why I wanted it. I have to say I am very impressed with it. Set up was a breeze. All of my apps from my Droid account were automatically installed on the Flyer in less than 15 minutes. I used it for the first day at work and it was great for carrying around and taking notes. It is wicked fast on the WiFi . My original Droid struggles to keep a WiFi connection at work. Battery life has been awesome. I turned it on at 6 am and it still has 3/4 charge left at 9 pm.
The keyboard is great – very responsive. By the way, this is my first post to Droid Life using the Flyer.

Thanks for the tip, yep, walked into my local bb and the kind lady had one for me…since another lady cut in front of me to get to this thing (and then uses three different cards to pay for it lol) I got discounted on the pen, so that took the sting out of another 80. for the pen.

Right off I like how the screens spin completely around and not from side to side…its fast and nice how all the apps loaded up through my google account…and oh yea, the pen, so far it’s very intuitive to use…easy to type…like how the home/menu/back keys are present at bottom in either landscape or portrait…most of all love the size, it’s perfect. Some are comparing this price and say you can get more…yea, and weight and bulk too. I have a mini hp for traveling, but this is smaller and more lightweight and still does what I need it to do, plus I have my notepad integrated already.

Who cares about the stupid pen. Seriously, it was a dumb idea to begin with. I’d rather them do without the technology and the stylus and make the tablet more affordable or even invested in making it a honey comb tablet. its a dumb idea now and it will be a dumb idea in years to come. I am considering the tablet either way.

You’re sleepin’. They Flyer is like NO other tablet available. It’s NOT a big phone and it does so much more than Honeycomb, the PlayBook and definitely the Tab. Do your research. It’s more than worth the price… once you know what you’re talking about.
