They do..., I have my Sonos System hooked into my central home stereo system..., using my Amp to power my Klipsch speakers..., with the music stored on my central server in "raw" format the sounds quality is as good as any CD or DVD. I also have Sonos feeding my Bose in two guest rooms again streaming music off my server. My SONOS environment has S5s, and powered and un-powered zones..., no matter how you build up your SONOS environment it is only made better with the android app...

I think that this is a great idea, especially if the audio is top notch (it should be for the price). Although is not the same solution (since my sound system is just located in my favorite room) I have a yamaha RX-V367 with a bluetooth adapter and I connect wireless to this my Droid2, OG Droid, linux desktop and my linux netbook. I can control my music completely via the Amarok2 remote that you can get on the android market. I can listen to pandora, lastfm, ubuntu1, etc. Really cool. My point is that it is true that wireless is really cool and that Sonos took it a step further. Again I think that sound quality is what will make them or brake them, and by this they have to deliver close to Bose or Klipsh.

Our family has 4 SONOS environments of multiple zones at our home and cottage, at both boys apartments. They are great. Have been waiting for this app for years. An now with android SONOS controller I even have voice to text to help me build play lists. It is a great app.

I fail to see it, are you saying the music doesn't sound that good or the app doesn't work that well or that there are better alternatives? And whichever it is, do you actually have the experience to make that call?
