I’m glad this isn’t an LTE phone. That means we might actually see a release date that is met (I’m looking at you, Thunderbolt and Droid Charge).

Good news! I was looking on Android Central and they are saying that the dummy X2′s are arriving at some stores! It looks like we are only days away from release, but I doubt we’ll be getting it tomorrow.

aside from all this ps stuff this phone is launching with gingerbread, unlike most other phones who launch with froyo and say ah yes youll get gingerbread eventually sony is doing it right if you ask me

That’s making me rethink my choice of a Droid X2… I really, really want Netflix on my phone, but don’t want to have to go to an iPhone for it… Love the DX2 specs, but Netflix may win out in my heart. I will be really torn if they release with Netflix

Does anyone know if the Xperia Play will have Netflix at some point? Or at least can handle it…I would think so but I’m not sure.

I’m also hoping since U.S. is last for some completely unknown but likely stupid reason, maybe the U.S. release will have something a little extra with release…

And hoping for $199

You know he’d never EVER buy an iphone, lol. Its just the weird hatred you have for Apple reminds me SOO much of an old racist person that just hates something (someone) so strongly that its almost uncomfortable. I know its oddly enough normal and completely understandable to most of you on here, but to me its just awkward and weird. I am in the exact position you are in. 4G will not be here for 12-24 months. I want a dual core 3G phone with more RAM and a better screen. The Droid X2 meets all of my requirements.
