I could say the same to you about these “popular” games. What the hell is Gemcraft, Crush the Castle or Elephant Quest? It is, indeed, a fact that Robot Unicorn Attack had an outstandingly huge following and could be found on numerous big name websites… not to mention the popularity of shows like Family Guy and the like on Adult Swim and the fact that they posted Robot Unicorn Attack on television repeatedly… it’s pretty safe to say that it’s popularity was bound to grow. Be sure to do your research…

I have also not noticed any sort of “attitude” in Matt’s articles. And these are just application reviews. It’s more or less saying “Hey readers… this application exists, here’s what it does and here are a couple things that we noticed went right or wrong after 10 minutes of use to be aware of.” What else do you want? Don’t answer that… it’s gonna be absolutely absurd anyways. Millions of writers out there… don’t like one, don’t read their shit. It’s that simple. Kudos for at least mentioning constructive criticism, but since you had none, don’t rag on the guy. Your whole comment seemed a little “high and mighty.”

Maybe he’s talking about this. He could also be referring to how without substance the article felt….phoned in so to speak. I dunno.

On a different note, being a denizen of the internet…when did this take the internet by storm? Just because YOU really liked it when it came out doesn’t make it Gemcraft, Crush the Castle, or Elephant Quest popular.

I do have to say Matt, I don’t know what it is, but I always feel like your articles aren’t up to snuff. I’m having a hard time putting my finger on to give constructive critism….I want to say it seems like you don’t do enough research for the types of articles you are writing and then write with this attitude that sometimes seems high and mighty. Or maybe you over-research the wrong things. I dunno…I like having you review apps, so really just trying to get your finger on our collective pulse.

I’d love to see you write an article about the best Xoom/tablet optimized apps.
