Messed up my 3G config… im flashing Verizons SBF now. Ive read in some forums that im gonna have to load my carriers SBF (thats IUSACELL) and go to one of the stores to claim warranty… I sure hope itll just work with flashing Verizons SBF liek it used to with it.

Where can I get the 2.3.340 official Froyo Firmware for Droid 2? I’m trying to get onto Liberty Gingerbread v0.5. I nearly bricked my phone attempting this feat. I must’ve got the wrong 2.3.3. Can someone get me a link to the proper 2.3.3 firmware so I can go from there?

Download 1KDStaz.x.iso
Use disc utility (built in) to burn iso file to a cd/dvd
shut computer down
start back up holding c button down
Hit enter at “boot baby… boot” screen
you will see yellow dots for 3- minutes
select display size(There may be a delay after selecting the display size)
you will now be in script and ready to flash.

it wil ask you if you are ready to sbf
plug phone into usb
put phone in bootloader (power phone on while holding camera and volume up and down keys)
if you are connected by usb and in bootload mode hit 1 then “return”

wait for it… oh yes like brand new.

Sometimes it bootloops on initial start just pull batery and power on holding home button
when yellow exclamation with droid guy comes up hit bottom right search button (magnifying glass)
wiped data, wipe cache reboot

Now like fresh out of the box and can wipe clean and restore fresh whenever you mess up

hello all, i have a newb questiona and i am just trying to figure out how to get this to work. i downloaded gingerbread update when it first came out and i was under the assumption to use droidx bootstrap becasue the app said only for froid x?? and now the direction are telling me to only use droid2 botstrap, so i bought it and it kept telling me something like “null”. anyways i am not sure if i need to actually download all nine parts of the mirror parts? or if i do have to download all of those then where do i put them and how do i use it when i put my phone in recovery mode?
another question i cant get my phone into recovery mode, when i hold the home +power buton android pops up and there is a traingle with a “!” in the middle of the triangle, ay suggestions?

i have a question, i am new to rooting and i followed the instrutions for gingerbread to the T and when i followed the instruction i used droidx bootstrap because the instructions on the app said for droid x only…i am attempting to actuall update the gingerbread program, what my question is where and what do i do with these mirror programs do i install 9 parts if i do where do i put them?

also one more quick question i keep tryin to get my phone to get into recover and i push home and the power button until i get android to pop up but i get a triangle with a “!” in the middle of it and when i push the search button nothing happens…any suggestions would be great thanks
