just downloaded and ran a Fring Test Call…works great. None of my buddies are currenlty online to test live, but, will update when I am able to confirm this app. Nice job getting us access to the beta.

I’ve got one… it’s a great phone.
The laptop dock is cool. I charges the phone using its own battery and can almost triple the battery life of the phone.
That said, thanks to our friends at xda-developers you can get “Webtop Via HDMI Without a Dock”, you don’t even need to root!

Pros:
Very fast & reliable (android 2.2 FTW)
Loud speaker (Max volume will get your attention from across the house)
Bright LED flash
Firefox in webtop can play hulu (kinda choppy tho)

Cons:
Motoblur
Battery life / temperature on load (idle is fine)
Dock cost is annoying
Signed bootloader (no third party ROMs)

All in all… I like it better than my 3GS

Apparently this is an updated build, than the one posted. I just installed it, and my front camera isn’t FC’ing anymore.

Fring works great on my non-rooted TB, but it messed up the front camera later on. If i open the camera and switch to front camera, it will FC. I have to clear the camera cache each time to fix it.

Tango works for both Android and iOS. I’ve tested it with a friend of mine that has an iphone and it works well.

Since I started following this site back when the Droid Shadow was being rumored, I enjoyed reading the comments that everyone posted because everyone was very friendly and treated eachother as a family (Minus i*hone lovers)….Back then the members (i use that term loosely) were alot more accepting to Newbies. I feel this community has gotten very stuck-up and are no longer willing to pass on their knowledge to those who don’t know much about Android products. Not to say that this particular person is a not knowledgeable on the topic. I just feel the tone has changed on this website and it’s no longer a place to help eachother but now more of a place to try to show who has the bigger “DROID” (to keep things G rated).

Too bad it won’t interface with Skype video anymore… and no Yahoo video
So can’t really use it to video chat with people on their PC’s…
