i love that you can unlock and root the xoom with ease, and the first thing i did with my x was root it. but i can’t find the reason to root the xoom yet. anyone wanna push me to root it?

I don’t know why ya’ll think that motorola won’t upgrade an unlocked xoom to 4g. It is a feature you purchased along with your xoom, not a warranty issue.

From what I have read it is more of a android 3.0 thing than a Motorola thing. I mean the hardware only works if the software is written and to get it out I read somewhere they had to leave that out. So if this is the case it is not Motorola it is goolge and Im sure they are working on it just give it ‘sometime. I mean I want it as well but at least we get our xooms now and dont have to wait while the thing gets delayed. Ill work with the things that I have to wait for as we don’t even have ROMs available yet to utilize a custome recovery. We have a great tablet and have many things to look forward too.
