I tell you this is painful….. release date the 14th, no the 24th, wait from a reliable source the 28th. I think alot of this is a ploy to see how badly we want it and how much we are willing to pay. And here we all are drooling….

VZW has never confirmed a 2/28 date. That piece of info came from the same people that claimed the release was delayed due to it being too close to the iphone release. Give me a break. If it had come out on the 24th, the 14 day window would have only applied to the people who bought the iphone on the first day.

i spoke with a verizon agent a few hours ago. she told me that her store has placed an order and ten phones are set to arrive the 22nd. she also said that was two days earlier than most places. she says they would not be able to sell them the until the 24th, but she told me to come back tuesday because i would be able to tinker with the phone to see if i liked it. she also said there was no advertising because of their contract with iphone. lastly, she mentioned a $50 rebate. she wasn’t sure if that was before or after the $249.99 price for a 2 year contract. i found all this to be quite specific compared to what i’ve been reading. we’ll see.
