Well, if Verizon were to announce that the Thunderbolt is $249 and the 4g plan is the same price as 3g before the iPhone launch, they’d end up with a lot of extra iphones on their hands. I think that data plan price is the key to their keeping their mouth shut. They want to sell as many 3g phones as they can because if that price is indeed the same, 3g phones will be worth almost nothing after that announcement.

i had to break down and buy an incredible today been without a phone for 2 weeks now, and they just keep playing games. If its the 14th great, i can take back the incredible if not, ill just stick with what i have, i only signed a one year contract anyway.

If you have seen the desire HD you have seen the thunderbolt. Essentially the exact same device in terms of body/resolution/sense UI/etc. As for the deposit….it is a $50 best buy gift card you could use for anything if you decided not to get the phone.

I still think VZW won’t release this until 15 days after the iPhone. That way buyers are stuck with an inferior product and Crapple gets their lime light. Heads up with the TB they’d get destroyed. I know it, you know it, and they know it.
