why do my comments with links need moderator approval but the daily morning spam doesn’t?

There is absolutely no valid reason for having 3D on a tablet or smaller device, period. Marketing ploy, that’s it, the way of force feedback joysticks, and facetime (once you figure out that video calls drain your phone quickly, just how many will you make, let alone how many you take if you’re not “ready” to be seen, etc.?)

I can’t even glance at a 3D television on display at the store… INSTANT HEADACHE. I wear glasses and many of the pairs of 3D glasses won’t fit over them. So at this point, I’m very anti-3D. On a phone, that’s just a really stupid idea, IMO.

NO ONE SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN 3D IN A SMART PHONE HELL OUR PHONES BATTERIES DIE QUCIK ENOUGH I COULDNT EVEN PICTURE BATTERY LIFE WITH A 3D SMART PHONE WE WOULG GET LIKE 2 HOURS OUT OF IT AND THE BACK OF THE PHONE WOULD BE SO HOT IT WOULD MELT OUR FINGERS OFF

All this 3D stuff to me is totally unessacarry and pretty stupid. I mean srsly a 3D phone hell even 3D tvs are kinda stupid.

Not been impressed with 3D movies yet. Not excited about 3D phones.

Other than gaming purposes it sounds like a useless technology for smartphones. This is just my own opinion on it. I think even for TV’s its overkill. They should save it for the movies . Now bring on the damn tablet already thats what I support:)

3D is complete garbage. It doesn’t even look good or realistic currently. Mix in that the lack of industry standards, meaning that each manufacture has its own technology and its own specific 3D glasses, its completely not user friendly. I guess my hate for 3D spawns mostly from the TV side specifically, but that is whats pushing everything, and now this with smart phones. Please, lets all ignore 3D so it will die and go away.

3D is cool but in theaters near you, I’d rather have Quad core and 4G lightening speed technology with plenty of ram and a killer screen that doesn’t deem in the sunlight.

I don’t much like 3D in movies, TVs, and video games, so seeing it on a mobile device is even lower on the list then that.

You guys are misunderstanding what it actually means by 3D.

If you need glasses to view the 3D, it’s a waste of time.

resolution is terrible in HD let alone 3D. I almost threw up when I saw NBA Live in 3D… looked like ps2 graphics where you have little 2D pictures floating around in space.

Either I am confusing the 3D that is planned for phones and tablets, or everyone else is. The 3D, as I understand it, is not comparable to televisions or movies. A basic example use would be to have desktop icons for apps appearing to float above a distant background – and when the screen is looked at from different angles, that background moves as if you were able to see deeper into it because you are at an angle – NO 3D GLASSES REQUIRED. I saw a demo of it that looked cool. Though I don’t really care to pay more for it.

Hey, LG, how about adding NFC support instead of 3G?

Until we can acheive 3D with no glasses, be it on phones, TVs, or movie screens, I’m not interested.

I’ll wait to see how it works. 3D isn’t a big deal for me, but if they have a better way and better use for it I’d take a look at it. As it stands, its not special.
