Comments on: Gingerbread SDK ROMs Start Popping up, DROID Incredible Included

flashed onto a rooted froyo incredible, worked fine untill I updated the radio, then it just bootlooped. I tried factory resets, other radio updates, tried flashing the GB rom again thru recovery with no luck. I had to place a stock froyo rom into the sd card and named it pb36img. Ran it thru hboot and it returned the phone to stock.
Re-rooted the phone and place skyraider rom on it, works nice.

actually, we are making progress in leaps and bounds on thing. v3 should be pretty nice, with lots of new stuff

If I recall correctly, the box of DInc says verion 2 for Amoled, version 3 for SLCD.

I would place my bet that if you bought it recently (i.e. less than two months) then it would be an slcd, if it was through any official vendor. Best Buy included.

UnrEVOked should do the trick fine. Just be careful as last time I used it the recovery didn't work considering the newer DIncs have SLCD screens as opposed to AMOLED. If this is the case for yours, there is an alternative recovery for you.

I am very new to the rooted community… I just rooted my DInc this past weekend using the new Unrevoked update. I am very interested in improving my Incredible, hence the reason I rooted in the first place. But I'm not really sure where to go with it. I am very open to suggestions on what ROM's to try and explanations on themes, ROM's, etc.

didnt you read the disclaimer...these are for testing purpose only, these are not full ROM's and are only used to see what gingerbread would be like on your phone.

The first phone on that list is the HD2, which is Windows Mobile phone to begin with.

I just got a Dinc and I know it's a little different to root it versus the D1, is it a pain to do?

I would not flash these….
