Actually, that's incorrect. They have the same processor, same amount of memory, and if I'm not mistaken, the same amount of RAM. The only noticeable difference is the screen size and the keyboard.

I understand that motorola wants to capture the blackberry crowd but this clearly is no droid x replacement/killer. Spec wise the DX beats it in every category. Nothing to worry about until next year. No way I would go back to a 480×320 3.1 inch display

im gonna take my fathers upgrade give him the droid x which he loves because he has a bit bad eyesight so he likes big screens but doesnt like how big the incredible hd is. i will get one of the 4 htc phones coming out in q1 with his upgrade. also my phone creaks at the top on the right of the power button, the bottom peice under the buttons is loose and ther battery cover creaks. people say it's supposed to have amazing build quality but it doesnt. i got mine a few days after launch. July 24 2010

I have dropped it once. Creak was there before. Creak I’d below the buttons. Battery case is a tad loose as well.

where does yours creak. Also i have never dropped my phone and i used to carry it in its case for a month but i dont like how the carrying case is sideways and the dx is so long so i take it naked. but i treat it like a baby even 3 months later. Also when did you get yours. i remember i got mine july 24 2010 by accident because i was waiting for one to come in stock at costco and while i was coming from the eastern market on saturday i called the costco i was going to pass and they said thehy had gotten stock a few seconds ago so i was really luck.

Those are my only complaints about this phone as well… other than that i LOVE it. Thought i was the only one with a creaky Droid X.

I'd be ordering the Pro if the screen res was higher. As a Droid Eris owner, I have noticed that there a few cool apps that are specifically made(or will be made) for VGA res devices. Close but no dice. I guess I am stuck now deciding between the D2, and one of the Galaxy S phones that out on Big Red right now.
