With the way that Verizon has been supporting Android, I seriously doubt that the next G Phone will make it’s way anywhere before Verizon.

Nexus Two already… hmm i wonder if google is going to make the same mistake and sell it only online. I'm actually surprised that googles beloved phone has just disapeared. And i highly doubt that the N2 will have a keyboard because the G2 has just came out.

You guys do realize that Carphone Warehouse is owned by BEST BUY, go to their site and click About…. I was clued in by the geek squad logo on their main page.

Seems to me that if they are selling it in Europe, BB will be selling it here… Just a hunch.

This picture has been floating around for quite a while. Several months before the Droid 2 was released, people were saying this could be the Droid 2. So I think it's more likely a concept never has/never will become a final product.

EDIT: To further support this is a forgotten concept, the keyboard has a large directional pad, which Moto did away with in the Droid 2.

I was hopefull that the N1 would change the wireless industry in the US as you described, but I fail to see any changes in the wireless industry since the release of the N1. The Droid series of phones are more responsible for bring android “to the masses”, and phone subsidies are still the norm and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. Plus since the release of the N1, a vanilla android phone hasn’t been released. So while the N1 is a good phone, I’m sorry to say it was less than revolutionary.

I remember this picture. Back when the Droid X was being called the Shadow Ah the good ol days. In my day our Droids didn't have all this Motoblur stuff on them and our bootloaders weren't even signed those were the days. They just don't make em like they used to

For some reason I remember back when the Nexus One was released that Motorola was going to have dibs on creating the next Nexus phone. Could the Motorola Olympus be that phone? That is why the rumors are speculating it being released to AT&T first. Just a thought. Especially with the probability of a new HTC 4.3″ screen coming to Verizon at the end of November.
