Seriously? You think Apple was the first? I was using a HP tablet 8 years ago for work. Apple may have timed it better waiting for better hardware, but they are hardly innovating.

swype technology. I can’t text worth a damn and I tried the swype feature on the fascinate and droid X and its so fluid that I anticipate it will be even better on a 7″ screen vs. a 4 or 4.3″ screen

As samsung officially states -- The final price will all depend on the subsidy you will be using. Actually, without the subsidy its price could go as low as 400 USD only!

So they can tell you the price of the accessories but not the device? What stupidity is that?

Also do not need a 4th frickin data plan. They know they are raping us, and until we go minimalist or start churn wars on the carriers they won't learn to come up with better plan packaging.

I personally think there's no other better product out there other than Apple, but one thing that annoys the crap out of me about Apple is the fact that they are overpriced and just milks the consumer's pocket little by little. Stingy Steve has got to stop if he wants to keep up with Android's competition!

yeah, but was the 1st to launch his product successfully! It's quite sad hardly anyone knows, or heard about Archos 5 tablet. I personally never heard of it until you just mentioned it. Somethings not right with their marketing strategy!
