Probably not – unless your insurance plan states you will get a NEW phone. Most phones they exchange a damage phone with are refurbished. There are plenty of refurbished phones available.

It's considered a world phone because cdma works in 40 different countries.

if it's truly a world phone that means it is either GSM or CDMA/GSM. This phone is just CDMA as per the fact sheet so it is NOT a world phone. Maybe they will have a world phone version but this one isn't it.

Hey guys HUGE fan of the site I wanted to get all of your opinions. I have the Original Droid and I have been due for an upgrade for almost 2 years now (Bought the Droid on Craigslist) And I really want to get a new phone kinda for the sake of getting a new phone (possibly to show off) The Droid X and Incredible don't seem worth it but the Droid 2 kinda does. I really want to wait until January because that's when I think Verizon gets the iPhone which is the phone I really want. So I ask you – Do you think I should upgrade now to the Droid 2 or keep waiting until that next big phone?
