  • I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for Verizon to get the Nexus 6 so I can use my edge upgrade… have the ship sailed? is there another phone I should wait for now? Current device is moto x 2013 and LOVE the moto software features, dislike skins

    • That was a change Disqus implemented, not us. I moved from the Bay a few years ago, but I still call it my home away from home. 🙂

  • Since the S6 is staying with USB 2.0, does this mean any charger will allow for a quick charge or only Samsung/S6-issued chargers?

  • Two questions:
    1) Why is wireless charging suddenly cool to you now that Samsung is doing it, but recently you were writing about how fast charging is all that matters and wireless isn’t really needed? (I personally love it, it’s the one thing I like about the S6 over the M9).
    2) Why do you hate HTC?

  • What was the best technological innovation to occur from Samsung or HTC during their announcements?

  • do think that people was underwhelm by the HTC One M9 because they was mislead by iconic concept design of the HTC M9 that floating around the internet?

    Is it a good thing or a bad thing that HTC did not up the OneM9 screen to QHD?

    what do think about Samsung feeling the need to not add a SDcard slot in the Galaxy S6 seeing that it was one of the main selling points for the Galaxy S line predecessors especially the S3 & S4?

    what think about the Lenovo camera Vibe?

    Is it the beginning of smartphones having built-in non removable batteries – why do you think that smartphone manufactures is making smartphones with a none removable battery?

    Were you disappointing by this year MWC? and what is best and worst devices show at the event?

    • I think people, including meself, need to brush aside the ‘leaks’ and have an open mind. We can make our opinions be known after the device has been revealed. We’re getting disappointed me thinks because we were mislead by evleaks with that Sexy render. That fact alone doesn’t not make the phone a terrible device.

  • Do you think Samsung is going to screw everyone with the Note 5 the same way they screw the Galaxy S fans…by not including a microSD slot or making it with a non removable battery. I can deal with the non removable battery but don’t mess with the microSD slot.

  • Do you think Google will ever actually allow us to turn things off such as location for different apps without having to gain root and install something like App Ops or did they quietly decide to pass that option for some reason? I know it isn’t a MWC question but I am very curious

  • What’s your guess for the top phone of the year? Do you think it will be the S6/Edge/M9 or will LG trump them with the G4?

    • Kinda hard to decide with half the devices missing. Although, I’m sure they’ll award it to motox 2015 again so why ask right

    • Moto X 3rd year running, will still be Google’s design for this year in the pipeline

  • When you do the review for the M9 will you just repost the M8 review and edit the camera section?

  • Google Wallet, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay… Who do you think will win the mobile payments battle?

    • I think Android Pay will replace Google Wallet. And since Android Pay would most like be on every Android device this might be the one who will end on top. But Google will have to do something like what Samsung did since not every Android device has NFC.

  • Whats the last phone you’ve rooted? Would you ever consider rooting again?

  • I have a nexus 6 on cricket now, and instead of my usual sell after a few months and get something else I’m wanting to just get a smaller phone (quite a bit smaller) this time and just swap the nano sim at will when I feel like or want/need to use the other phone for the day/week (whatever).

    Best phone I can see for this, and my need for really good battery life, is the Sony xperia z3 compact. Am I missing something? Also, wait a few months for a z4 compact or buy the z3 compact now for $468 (amazon)???

  • Are you as underwhelmed with the M9 as everyone else who reads the site seems to be?

    • I think the biggest issue with the M9 is that evleaks had us all excited about that new design (which I wanted). Now they’re just second… actually third fiddle to Samsung’s 2 phones at MWC.

  • Who do you think is going to surprise us this year in 2015, not just in Android, but in the overall smartphone division, as well in smartwatches and tablets?

    • That whole viral dress thing isn’t even a week old and I’m already sick and tired of it.

      • In that case, a new question. Do you all remember where and when it was when you heard about the Llamas ;P

  • Now that a decent fingerprint scanner has been introduced to Android, how long before we see it on a phone without Touch wiz? Perhaps in a dimple, where it belongs.

    • HTC One Max (or whatever it’s called) tried that and failed miserably. though it was a bad rendition of a fingerprint scanner and required you to swipe

  • What do you think will be the big marketing feature for smartphones this year? The latter half of 2014 seemed to be all about that QHD.

  • Do you think Facebook will ever stop screwing up their app while existing bugs go unfixed just to add features nobody asked for?

  • What would you change about the design of the Galaxy S6/S6Edge or do you like them the way they are?

  • What changes do you want to see in the Xperia Z4 and LG G4 to sway you over the S6/Edge and M9?
