Always loved Swype on my galaxy s4g. Got my new s3 and thought it was broken until I found out it wasn’t “real” Swype. Got the app and I’m loving it again. The s type is horrifically bad at guessing what I’m trying to Swype…..not even remotely close on even the most common words. Thank you SO much for offering this. I am not a tap typer and would go insane doing that. Feel free to send these comments as a “told ye so”to Samsung!!

My thoughts exactly! You can’t beat the Swype shortcuts, it just makes the whole process fluid. I think that bug was fixed as well

I tested it, and yes, it appears to fix that bug. Launch is also MUCH quicker. A great app got better. Can’t ask for more than that!

Just updated over mobile myself. It’s in your settings. If you already have mobile data checked, uncheck it and recheck it and try again.

This x1000. I know Swype has said they won’t do it because the beta is intended to test all aspects of their product, but this really annoys me. Swype makes the better keyboard over stock, but stock voice input is eerily accurate.

I tried stock swipe and although it was nice, I feel the same. There are just so many slick swype shortcuts (comma, period, question mark, cut, copy, paste, number pad, editor, CAPS) and I love the ability to just press anywhere on a word and have replacements that I’m actually looking for (vs the horrible guesses on stock).

The worst bug for me is how the comma swype gets messed up with “.com” after using the keyboard in a browser. But I found that switching from swype keyboard and back corrects it. I wonder if this update will fix that..

Give me the ability to change my voice input button to Google rather than Dragon, and I’ll be a life-long user… Until then, I guess it’s SwiftKey Flow

I just tried to update on my phone and it requires you to update over WiFi. I wonder why they are doing that. Please let us update over 4g…
