Looks pretty ugly, I like the original theme a lot better. Hopefully they fixed the quality of the app because I used to love it but when they introduced slacker pro/on demand streaming it started to suck: my songs would drop out after 30 seconds and skip to the next song, or they would take forever to load on a strong 4G connection. I switched to Pandora.

High contrast UI = good
Bright colors and Windows Phone mimicking = meh

Leave to Slacker to actually reduce functionality with an update….unless I’m missing something, I can no longer see “next song” information. Also, I always found it helpful to see the current track cache/buffer.

I certainly hope they give users the option of a darker theme. I will not update mine until they do. The website theme was updated too, but at least with that they give you the option to switch back to the older darker version.
