The DNA is overall a great phone. The storage and nonremovable battery were almost dealbreakers for me, but I chose this phone for the screen, CPU, 2GB of RAM, design/feel, Jelly Bean, and HTC’s camera software, and I prefer Sense over Touchwiz even though Sense has a few nuisances such as the app switcher being a horrible substitute to stock.
The battery has no problem lasting me all day with moderate-heavy usage, call quality is the best I’ve experienced on a phone.
Also, the battery seems to charge really fast. I can be fully charged with my Nexus 7 charger in 2 hours, and my 1amp Andru charger seems to do about 30% every 45min. It blows my mind.
Also, standby/sleep mode only drains no more than 2% per hour, which is superb.
Id give the phone an overall 8/10 in terms of performance/reliability/battery life.
Also, the microUSB port cover isnt as much of a hassle as I thought it would be at first and I actually like it now. It helps to keep dust and moisture or anything else out that you wouldn’t want creeping its way in.
I am proud to say that I don’t have buyer’s remorse, and I also will not have it if the M7 gets released on Verizon.
If I would have gotten the GS3, I definitely would be having buyer’s remorse as soon as the GS4 gets announced in a couple months.

I too was worried about the lack of storage and no microSD since I came from the Thunderbolt, but with the 11GB of available space on the DNA, I still have 7.61GB available. I paid for it outright and kept my unlimited LTE, so I stream all my music through Google Play, while keeping recently listened to stuff stored on the device.
I also have over 130apps, only a handful of which are games.
As long as you don’t plan on downloading several games that are 700mb-1.5+gb in size, you should be fine, especially if you have unlimited.
I also have a 32GB Nexus 7 so that helps me from needing to have more storage on my phone.

Verizon will get a watered down version and make it have the Droid name.
