Having the most powerful tablet shrunk down to 8 inches with Android 4.2 & the s-pen stylus is not a bad idea… unless we find out that the tablet will only have 1 gb of RAM. And if it does not have multi-user support, and samsung keyboard charging, then we are talking about a MAJOR FAIL here.

i beg to differ. note 8.0 is perfect size to hold especially if it’s light as well. Look at the ipad mini; I sold my hp touchpad and wanted to get a nexus 7 but the screen is just too small especially after holding an ipad mini. been waiting for a note 8.0 to come out since it’ll be perfect for taking notes in class with the s-pen. too bad the screen resolution sucks hopefully it’s priced low!

This is good news. Hopefully this means they are down to 2 phones (Galaxy + Note) and 2 tablets (Galaxy + Note) as their primary focus.

Other than a particular preference for that size; what about the GNote8 actually stands out and makes it worth purchasing? I’m thinking it’ll probably come in at $349-$399 Wifi…
