I wonder how much this app would shorten the life of the LED flash? I know some people who would look like a disco ball with all that flashing.

This doesn’t seem right. Flashme controls the standard notification led, not the camera flash.

Care to share the profile for tasker? Would love to have it. I’m sure I could get tasker to do it, but if you’ve already taken the time to set it up, why reinvent the wheel, right?

Pretty sure the setting is found under the Accessibility section, implying that it was implemented for those with hearing impairment, not as a way to “fix” Apple’s “perfect” device.

I don’t know why this is getting such negative reviews. Personally, I like it. My phone is usually on vibrate or silent, so this, apart from the temporary blindness, is pretty useful.
