Well, contrary to the popular views I would like to think that the decision to host one event instead of two can be good, in a way. Given the last two years did not find any success, this move seems much realistic. With one event every year, it is likely that CITA will try its best make it successful and can give full effort towards it.

Whether “Super” Mobile Show will “act as the Fall preview mobile event for any company looking to kick off the holiday season” is something that we all will have to wait and see. However, given the situation, this seems to be a realistic move.

Silly to have a show in the fall. People are going to see whats coming up and not buy anything for the holidays.

Every year CES has less and less of a wireless presence. Companies realize that they can get far more attention with individual events and can also align the event with the product release date. The Bionic is a perfect example of a trade show display gone terribly wrong.

Even with one event I don’t see CTIA as becoming more relevant, especially with consumer directed products.
