Google Now is ok in that it says it shipped, but it doesn’t really track it, and it doesn’t alert you when the status is changed to delivered.

Love it. Any email that contains a tracking number you forward to an email address that is tied to your account and it immediately pops up in the app. Any change to the package – initial ship, arriving or leaving a location, out for delivery, delivered, etc all update usually within minutes of the event. I’ve tried a few but this one has worked well for me for over a year now.

I’ve been using this feature for at least a month in my Amazon app. Maybe they just updated it, but definitely didn’t just add it.

The email has to come through your Gmail to work, it can’t be from a forwarded address. So yeah, there’s your problem.
