Unless you live with in 4 miles of an LTE tower you'll get great speeds. Anything past 4 mile and it significantly drops badly. I live inbetween 2 4g towers and a 3g tower half a ,ile away and the 4g lte towers are 5-7 miles away, and i get 12 down 5 up, my wifi is 10 down 2 up. 4g isn't going to be great till they put more towers up to cover even densely populated areas

It's great to know that the Galaxy Note 2 is future proof either way it's a great device to have. Tmobile will have it's LTE ADVANCED 10 NETWORK working sometime between June and August 2013. Tmobile will use it's current HSPA PLUS 42MPS network back hauled which will place Tmobile far better than the current Lte networks out today. Tmobile is making major moves and 6months from now they will be MAJOR PLAYERS.

I think the LTE Band 17 is supported on the T-Mbile Galaxy Note 2, which is the same AT&T uses. Because of the break-up with T-Mobile, I believe a 7-year roaming agreement was signed. I do not know if that roaming was for 3G or 4G. If this device has LTE Band 17,and if more T-Mobile devices come with LTE Band 17 support, then I can speculate that the roaming agreement inlcludes 4G LTE roaming with AT&T.
