I picked one (Maxx HD) up yesterday. I also own the original Maxx. It is not a perfect phone, but the screen is significantly better as is the performance. While not perfect, what it does (at least for my usage pattern) better than any other is provide enough battery life to get me through a full day w/o worry. That value is why I bought it.

this phone is not even available in my market yet today is the release date. I called four stores and they still don’t have the phone yet. WTF.

I just meant the glass around the screen is actually white, like the SGSII. The M still has black on the glass around screen.

Are you kidding me? I need to carry around a stupid tool to get out my micro sd card?!?!? That’s almost as bad as having to remove the battery/back cover on most phones. Stupid design. All they had to do was make a tiny little door for the SD, and another for the SIM. God ****it Moto (and other mftr’s), why is that so hard to do?

Actually, the M has a lot of white in it (Have one, and for the price paid, it’s terrific). It’s weird though, while I find the white S3 to be a really nice look, something about this doesn’t do it for me. Maybe with a black clamshell case on the back it would look cool (stormtrooper phone!), but I can’t say it’s doing a lot for me. In my opinion, it’s certainly not hideous though, and it might grow on me.
