this would be a valid point but he said his dad already had an OG, if he wanted unlimited data he should have just upgraded to it, you dont have to buy a “new” phone (was outdated 30 seconds after it came out) to change your data.

you said that he was using your old OG. that is a smart phone. you have to have a data plan on a smart phone, on top of that you can change your data plan at any time during your contract. You posted something you that was incorrect and now are backtracking, just admit your mistake and move on.

Exactly; smartphones may be a given for all of us on this blog but a lot of people just got their first smartphones last or even this year. People need to factor that in (but it’s an Android enthusiast blog so, as demonstrated in this thread, few people will understand this initially).
