I've never done a time-study, but have you used the new CWM?

Backups are differential (only altered/new data) now, and mightily fast...and the ability to queue up multiple zips prior to booting into recovery sold me on it completely.

I've used TWRP, but the directory listings are super-tiny, and if you hit the wrong zip when queuing, you have to start all over...there's no way to undo. (In ROM Manager, if you hit the wrong zip, you simply hit "back" to grab the right one).

That...and I just don't like mucking about in recovery. If it can be done in the OS GUI, I'd rather do it there.

Not saying TWRP is bad, just explaining why it doesn't do it for me. (Glad lots of folks like it...it's probably the only reason CWM changed how they do backups)

Same here. ROM Manager allows you to queue up multiple zips (superwipe, rom, gapps) and have it backup my current ROM all in one go.

...not a moment spent mucking about in CWM.

It's in the sidebar under "latest". I guess it's only available via nightlies right now which are a bit less stable. I'll flash it tonight though, I've been having some GPS issues on Liquid.

First Android app I ever paid for. I use it more than I use the dialer app, ffs.

That, and Pro gets you some nifty features (stacking installs, auto wipe/backup prior to flashing multiple zips...)

Nice to see CM supporting it's own updates, though as well.

It's all good.
