Note 2 would be much more expensive and they would have to wait for them. Plus the Note 2 doesn’t really offer anything (for their purposes) besides a slightly larger screen.

In the single solitary case of "the dude that won the cheeseburger contest" for "National Cheeseburger Day" -- he even went 'above and beyond' and submitted a picture of his "cheeseburger" along with his alleged post [no link to the 'winning' post and over 3100 posts in the thread to search thru? no thanks] that does not appear to even contain a hamburger patty. From what I can tell from the pic it's just a bunch of green and red stuff and what looks like either a few pepper bacon or pastrami slices between two slices of bread. It doesn't even have cheese slices. It's just cheesey bread used for the bun. That is definitely NOT a "cheeseburger". That is merely a "sandwich" based on what I can see. Also, if you GIS the name with this site -- there are only two results produced. He may be "on DroidLife all the time" -- but he sure as heck doesn't post "all the time". I'm not saying there are not more than two posts by 'Mike Kilar' -- but this goes towards what I already mentioned and pointed out. I search specific sites all the time for specific word entries and the GIS results are usually pretty accurate. Just saying.

Strike??? Yeah, great idea. Worked out well for Eastern Airlines mechanics. The airline just shut down and everyone was out of work. Not many wanted to hire “former” Eastern Airlines employees after that. So, by all means, strike if it makes you feel better, but the pilots don’t have much leverage with thousands of other pilots looking for work.

A phone is $600. An employee is $30-60k a year. Cutting jobs sucks, but American Airlines has to do something to save itself and the other 75,000 people it employs.

Yes and no. for actual navigation -not. However it will hold electronic version of all charts – departure, enroute (low/high/wac/sectional), SIDS,STARS, Approch plates and Airport diagrams.

LOL! I was just posting the same thing. Maybe that’s why the T-Mob Note was so short-lived!?! Also, maybe this will ensure that the Note has a longer-than-usual support lifecycle due to so many units being out and about in the field?
