Yeah, but would those pictures be that much better to justify hauling around another device? The reason the point-and-shoot industry is dying is not because separate cameras don’t do it better, but because smartphone cameras do it well enough that there’s no need for better.

Micro SD or SD? Like the retractable flash. Only concern is whether the battery life is any good, is the battery remove able, and does it have a HDMI hookup?

That’s a very good point on the type of zoom. If its 21x digital zoom, forget it.
