Verizon is being greedy…You use isis and they get money for each and every single transaction. but of course they won’t pass any savings on to the customer. They should let price of phones since they are supplementing the income if you use isis. at least with Google most things they have if not all are free.

I’m curious if Isis and Google wallet can use the same nfc pay terminal. I’ve been using wallet but it will be nice if more stores get the terminal. So far only mcdonalds and 7 11 have them here in salt lake.

That’s awesome…which makes the Dinc4 all the more relevant… but I can use Wallet as well on the N7. Oh I have it installed on the Droid but sadly its blocked I remember when I was installing it I was thinking oh please oh please let me have a freak device where it just happened to work…but nope.

I’ve been using Google Wallet since soon after getting my Galaxy Nexus too. No JB though, I’m unlocked and rooted, but I like the stock ROM, and I’m fine with ICS for now.

The reason I haven’t added any of my other cards to Wallet was they have category based cash back bonuses, and it seemed like if I charge something through Google Wallet, the charge would just show up as “Google”, and not from a restaurant, or drug store, etc. That, and the fact that most places I use my card for the rewards don’t have PayPass anyway.

I agree it works flawlessly, but only when it works. Half the places I’ve tried so far don’t have working PayPass terminals, but they either don’t know they’re not working or don’t care enough to fix it.

My email from Gwallet says that I can now use any of my credit cards on my Gwallet service. says to add visa, mastercard, discover, and american express. Also states I can add any debit card to Gwallet as well. Along with a new security feature that allows me to disable Gwallet if I lose my phone. Email from Aug 23rd.
Hopefully more retailers will take notice and start implementing the nfc pay other than 7/11, gas stations and petco. My local walgreens has one but never activated it cause no one had ever asked to use it before, except me.

It would be illegal for Verizon to block Google Wallet, not just based on spectrum rules, but especially if they were only trying to promote their own service.

Been using Google Wallet on my phone since day one of owning my Galaxy Nexus. Now on Jelly Bean Rom and still running Google Wallet. Also Google Wallet no longer requires Citi Card or Prepaid, I have my Bank of America Debit Card, CapitalOne Credit Card, USAA Credit Card, and PayPal Debit Card all in Google Wallet. Think it was about 2-3 months ago they updated their model and allow you to add any Credit/Debit Card for use with NFC purchase over Google Wallet. Really handy and works flawlessly.

If you look at the nfc-phones link. It shows that CrapSIS will use PayPass as well.
