good point, i haven’t even thought about that. I’ve got a Galaxy Tab on 4.04 and a GNex on 4.1, but my old D1 and DX are on 2.3 and i still turn them on sometimes.

Thanks Verizon for helping with the fragmentation of android by not updating the Gnex to JellyBean. JB is the same on gsm and cdma says JBQ.
Think they should include Verizon update delays for the fragmentation of android?

I believe most of the people commenting on that headline are merely
implying that DL probably should have left that bit out of the
headline…as it is either wishful thinking or ancient history depending
on your perspective.

As it stands, it’s just link-bait. (which is odd considering all of us would have clicked it anyway, being the tech fans that we are…)

FroYo took over Eclair, and Gingerbread took over FroYo. IceCreamSandwich is starting its inevitable takeover of Gingerbread. We hear these comments every time an OS share chart is released; I remember when everyone was complaining that Gingerbread would never take over FroYo and OEMs would just switch to ICS when it was out.
