Yes! It is extremely frustrating. I can live with IAP but the glitchy controls ruin it for me. I will be happy to throw down a few bucks once I know that I can play the game the way it was intended to be played.

Really Cool game. Follows on from games like Shadowgun and Angry Bots 9MB. The lightmapping is awesome and gun reload is particularly cool.

I agree with this. I ended up forking over an extra $.99 for 40K to buy some additional weapons and upgrades, and this made the game very enjoyable with more options. All in all, $1.98 for a game of this quality is still very reasonable. I have more issues with the gameplay mechanics than IAPs (I wish there was more exploring to do, instead of sitting around waiting for zombies to get close enough to blow their heads off). But for under $2, it rocks.

While I was pissed off at first, the game is definitely playable and fun without the IAP, and while I agree that a version without IAP would be nice, a $1 game + $4 IAP (optional) is a better plan than a $5 game. At least cheapskates get to play a great game…

Can’t wait for the update. Was having problems transferring my savegame using TiBu from my GS3 to my Nexus7.

They first should focus on that stupid glitch that randomly throws our aiming off to like a 180 degree turn and makes it god awful to aim…it never fails at least once on every level …on both my N7 And my SGS3

We have responded to greivance of fans who didn’t want to pay 5$ for SHADOWGUN. So we brought down the DT price while keeping it funny and fully playable without necessity of using IAP. According to us, IAP is only icing on the cake, nothing necessary to enjoy smashing gaming experience.”

That about sums up my feelings toward people’s complaints of the IAP.

Ok, so I’ll admit I don’t remember what graphics looked like in 2002 and I may have been exaggerating a bit. I also didn’t mean for my comment to sound so negative. I was simply stating that they don’t look nearly as good as a modern PC game. I have been gaming since 1985.

All of the extra goodies in the world will not make up for the lame IAPs and nearly-impossible-to-afford weapon “purchases”. Ugh.

The the first 2 games for Android by Madfinger (especially Shadowgun) were pure awesomeness, but they really went for a cheap cash grab this time around. Why don’t they just release a “free” version with IAPs then a $3 “Deluxe” version where you gain XP and weapon upgrades the old-fashioned way?!?

If you think these graphics look like ones from 2002 you clearly weren’t gaming back then. I don’t really play these types of games either, but the fact that they even exist on a mobile device is pretty bad ass.

get a tegra device (or unlock tegra with chainfire 3d) and then hook this up to your tv or a monitor. i had a friend come over while i was playing and using a PS3 controller. his first comment was, “new game?” followed by, “wait a second, you dont have a PS3. did you get one?” followed by, “holy cow, i couldnt even tell the difference.”
