My question to the Panda would be: Do you see the Nexus program as something Google has designed for the masses or strictly the “geeks”. I would seem the stronger the Nexus program the more control they would have with of their destiny with carriers as Apple has. However without a subsidy model it’s tough to imagine it’ll ever go mainstream.

It will interesting to see how far companies like Apple and google will take the mobilee industry to the next level with the help of the OEM’s :)

Hopefully haveing a device w/ AI will not only enhance the intractive expeince but think about the possibilities of a device that is truly part of you and knows your habits good or bad LOL The idea is fascinating and fun to think about :)

I would like to see Google step up to the carriers a bit more. Maybe allow average users to download the latest versions directly from Google. Most of us with VZ Nexus devices would have liked to seen these updates pushed a bit more quickly. I don’t care too much about a .5 update, mostly just curious on it. Not that there would be a huge jump in features from .4 anyhow.

Human level AI requires so much processing power that a wide scale solution will require a leap in tech akin to the jump from the transtor to the circuit board. So when it will be is up to some kid in a classroom right now planning the next technology big bang.
