I bought the new
10.1 tab 2, and I absolutely love it. I've been wanting a tablet for over a
year. I could do easy internet stuff like twitter, facebook, surfing, and
listening to internet radio, podcasts, and music that was smaller and more
mobile then my laptop. And also i like play HD game with this gadget and run
smoothly. Music sounds great. YouTube
is cool to watch. Its nice to review my photos on a lightweight screen while
sitting in bed.The display is bright and crisp, text is very
easy to read even when I have screen brightness all the way turned down.
There is nothing negative I have to say. This is THE
tablet to have!

If you want to buy
one, just buy on amazon the cheapest and trusted merchant on the earth. Simply click
this link : http://amzn.to/samsunggalaxytab2-10inch

I hate to tell you, but your Samsung 10.1 was released a mere few months ago and has been left behind where the original iPhone was launched in June 2007 and continued to get every update of iOS until iOS 3.0 (wasnt iOS then). The iPhone 3G (the next phone after the OG iPhone) continued to get updates for three years and every iPhone or iOS device that launches gets gurrenteed updates for 3 years. There has never been an Android phone that has even come close. The closest was probably the Nexus One which stopped getting updates after GB which was not even 2 years. Your lucky to buy an Android device now and have it supported a mere year later, hell, even 9 months later. Talk about comparing Apple's to Oranges. We may all prefer Android (me included), but you have to be honest with yourself they have the updates down and all are available for download on the same day. Android on the other hand is so up in the air its scary. Still having a great amount of choice I think trumps what the iPhone offers even with updates, but that doesn't mean that OEMs need to not take some responisibility and stop releasing dozens of phones with small updates over the last ones.

If you are comparing versions of the OS then compare that. Eclair to Froyo to Gingerbread all came with minimal updates as well. It has only been from GB to ICS that Android has seen a giant step in what it offers. I think most people get the minimal updates in hardware as Apple not innovating, but really iOS just runs well it doesn't need a lot of behind the scenes updates. I still think they need to overhaul iOS as it is in dire need of it, but Apple innovates just like Android does they just dont release dozens of phones a year and all being skinned. Android OEMs are killing Android and it will plain out. There is a reason why wireless providers like Verizon are selling more iPhones in a quarter than all Android devices combined. Normal consumers are buying iPhones as they are getting burned by the non updates and horrible bugs that plague Android devices. Not only that, but having their phones be replaced a mere two months later with the same phone with better features (cough Motorola Razr cough). This trend will continue until Google tightens the reigns and I thought they were going to do that with the Android update alliance, but that has faded and I wish it would come back.

I love Android and I dont see myself leaving, but I also dont see myself buying another skinned device again. If I do it would have to be a huge jump like what HTC did with the One X. That is a phone that finally has pushed hardware forward enough to catch up with Apple. Face it you may call it small updates, but Apple is pushing the industry and Android and WP7 OEMs (besides Nokia which I think is really innovating right now) are merely playing catch up.

Are you trying to say that Apple doesn't release credible updates? The new iPad is miles ahead of any tablet on the market both in screen and processor. You may be able to compare Android phones to the iPhone, but Android tablets to the iPad just doesn't work. They are completely two different games being played and Android tablets are losing market space every day, and with Win 8 on the horizon they really have problems on their hands. I have owned the Xoom and Transformer Prime, but neither holds a candle to the new iPad. Apple may lock down their products and I may prefer Android to iOS, but even I can see what is playing out in the tablet game and believe me Android isn't coming close. Every OEM including Google and their rumored Nexus tablet (which the Nexus has always been there to push the industry with top of the line specs and be the dev platform) is shying away from competing with the iPad. Instead all are in a race to the bottom to compete with the Kindle Fire. Android on tablets are taking a nose dive my friend, and Apple is setting the trends and innovating.
