I think Android will hopefully work to better battery life as an OS. While battery technology hasn’t progressed at all in a while, OS optimization has. My WP7 work phone (HTC Arrive) goes 3-5 days without a charge and minimal use. With the same usage on Android, I might get 2 days if I’m lucky (with LTE turned off). This goes for both Android phones I have (Droid X and Rezound; Rezound’s screen is a major battery drainer).

I also see some things being even more streamlined, and Google maybe getting those marketing gurus they have to make some commercials for Android.

Finally, I see some better app development picking up around next year, where Android is the first OS and iOS is second.

I remember this video and wanting the G-1 but being a Verizon die hard I just couldn’t bring myself to go to T-mobile. Was it worth the wait for Verizon to adopt Andriod… Hell Yeah!
