The issue Ive had with Android for awhile is the crashing issues due to the idiotic idea of running 2 different OS versions Gingerbread on the phones (2.3 or whatever it is now) and Honeycomb on the tablets.. Why they couldnt make HC work on the phones is beyond me I know technically it was designed for tablets but this is why Apple doesnt have the issues and makes Android look stupid. They use a unified OS to avoid issues all devices run the same OS so as to avoid app crashes and such.. I was almost reluctant after my experencies with my HTC on AT&T and the app crashes to even consider going Android with my wife and I's switch to Verizon but no choice if you want 4G basically since no timeline on IPhone5 and half of AT&Ts supposed 4G is nothing but actually more like upgraded 3G compared to Verizons LTE. Not to mention coverage issues some places Ive traveled it turns out Verizon was the only carrier with signal in some rural areas not really caring when Im on the road driving if I have 4G or even 3G but dead zones Unacceptable PERIOD...

Thank god - a 4" screen. I've been holding off buying a new phone because I want an easy to carrry PHONE (with maps/internet to use every once and a while), not a 4.5" behemoth. Too bad it's not ICS and don't trust LG as this would finally be the phone I'd be willing to buy hardware-wise (skipped the rezound, gnex, and razor maxx because of size).

I played around with a Spectrum for about 5 minutes in a VZW store. The UI definitely would take some getting used to, but it didn't strike me as the end of the world. I think one thing that would make many people on here hesitate is that the dev community has yet to fully embrace it. The other thing is if you do plan to stay stock, will it really ever receive an upgrade to ICS? It may have the three buttons, but that's no guarantee.

I really want to like the Spectrum. The display was stunning.

LOL! I had LG phones for YEARS, back in the "olden days". LG Voyager, Dare, 8100, 8300, V, EnV, EnV2, EnV3 just to name a few. Loved 'em. Never had one of their smartphones however. Once I went to the Motorola Droid Line, I never looked back. Although I did have a brief stint with a Samsung Omnia (1) WM CRAP!

Oh I stand corrected. I DID have a LG Vortex. A POC!
