Its simple you bought into Samsungs line of phones which include touchwiz and they will always include a variation of it going forth until they revise there UI overlay.

A Galaxy S and Nexus S have the same hardware as you know but due to the size of the partition and additions it won’t fit but if they stripped touchwiz from it (which they wont do) then they would be taking away what they feel there skin brings to Android also many users wont understand anything if touchwiz is taken out and would create another problem

I had the Nexus S and it was nice but obviously it wont get another major OS update unless its incremental or jelly bean is added support for additional peripheral which would be minor. If it gets updated users wouod only complain if not for face unlock then the fact apps close more aggressively because of low ram (thanks to ICS foot print being bigger) or how text and pages on the browser sometime struggle to render

I have the international version and I dont have that problem but Verizon and Google defintely messed up the launch and expectations of support. Only thing thats wrong with my GN is that its still stuck on 4.0.2

Well its ashame you dont have the Google experience version of the tablet but if not removig practically all support for the carrier branded version of the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S 4G, and LTE Xoom off there site then i dont know what to tell you. If it makes you feel better you will eventually get it although ive had it on my wifi version for months now

Samsung has screwed up, as well as Motorola, in my mind. I see Asus as the next big player. They are updating their products quickly, and with little issue.
