I have the Thunderbolt and it’s falling apart on me. I want Verizon to come out with a game changer, I want innovation. I love HTC and I want to wait to upgrade till a phone with better specs than the Rezound is released, especially so my upgrade won’t be in vain. But I’m not sure I can wait because of all my problems with my Thunderbolt :/

I have ICS on my Droid 2 Global, Droid X, Bionic, Atrix and Xoom LTE. Only the last two are unlocked. The Atrix was the hardest, the X was the easiest.

you missed my point completely…i’d rather wait and get a device after all the kinks have been worked out of the operating system than be an early adopter and get all the bugs and kinks that need to be worked out…as far as the updates, 4.0.3 is out(you said so yourself) and 4.0.4 has been leaked(again, you said so yourself)…if the nexus was the almighty like so many make it out to be, it would have gotten 4.0.0 out of the box(like it did) and 4.0.1 wouldnt have arrived til 5-6 months later…

Well according to the recent bootloader poll, even the majority of DL “G-Nex” owners didnt even unlock their own bootloader. So for a group that bitches about EVERY SINGLE MOTOROLA product to have their own damn bootloader locked on the “ZOMG TEH NFC!!!” Jesus phone is hilarious.

Locked bootloaders dont mean anything to 99% of people. Even the “hardcore” “UNLOCK ALL THE THINGS!” Nexus fans. Only a (very) small percentage care. With that being said I think we should have unlockable bootloaders. I mean it couldnt hurt anything so why not?
