Well that’s not entirely true. TalkAndroid ran this yesterday and they even went to so far as to decompile the apk themselves. They agreed if was likely nothing but were optimistic.

seems Google is extremely tigh-lipped about it, which makes me think it will be part of a “new” Google search engine effort

I think Majel will be part of a ‘bigger’ effort to bring an advanced search feature into the Google search engine itself, and won’t be exclusive to Android (will be in Chrome and Chrome OS also me thinks)
