I think its a huge compliment that a competitor would take interest in our beloved Android platform. The fanboys are not reflective of the typical Mac crowd who will give credit where its due. I think ICS is definitely going to surpass anything Apple OS has to offer. While I think Mac still dominates home computing, Google has officially taken over the cell phone domain. I hope Woz enjoys the unit and I can’t wait to get mine!

Woz has always had an android phone and an iPhone. I’m pretty sure he has said that he had the G1. He just like to be up to date on tech and he realize that competition can only improve quality.

Why should anybody be bothered by this or any other persons opinion on what piece of tech they purchase/own/use? Fueling the bitching, moaning, and insulting of people for what they choose to use or what they believe is better than something else is precisely why neither camp’s followers ever really impress me. I think it’s non news that Woz has a nexus, other than it’s cool that he got it early. This guy is awesome and also has done more for current tech than most people will do in a lifetime. Even if it wasn’t him though, I don’t think all the bashing from both sides is respectable. I also don’t see it in real life from anybody whose balls have actually dropped so it’s more forum fodder than anything else. I’m close to trading my tunda bow failure in on an iPhone, and when another phone comes out that makes me swoon more, no matter who makes it, I’ll get that one too. Tech is tech, and the mere fact that one would have to suggest to a group to “keep it clean” is testament to the pure unadulaterated evidence of what’s wrong with us today. People are suffering and we’re bitching about who makes the best phone when it’s purely subjective.
