IMO I have nothing against a game being optimized for a specific processor; It’s the fact that it won’t work with other processors. The game could look like ass on a Snapdragon S2 processor, look better on a Snapdragon S4, and look amazing on a Tegra 2/3 processor, as long as it’s the same apk then I’m fine with it. Kinda the way it works with games on Windows. You adjust the graphics according to the device capability. It would do a great deal to reduce fragmentation in the Market.

I really wish they’d stop this. Games specific for a certain processor when they’re both probably capable of running it is just retarded.

This is really really stupid and bad for Android. If this is anything like Tegra games which do not work on any other devices without hacking then this will just cause fragmentation of the Android platform. Something we all want to go away.

i really do hate this exclusive game store stuff for processors. app store fragmentation.. i’m coining it. i bought a few THD titles for my xoom and it ticks me off that i can’t play them on my phone. they should at least consider releasing non-optimized versions for the general android devices.
