None but the comment was about ROMs, not kernels. Liberty 3 runs buttery smooth on my D3 even with the locked down stock kernel.

Obviously you don’t understand… I am fully aware there are custom roms for those phones… But how many custom kernels do you have for those phones?

I think Liberty is def the most developed/stable custom ROM out there for D3 at the moment. I’m using it as my daily driver and really like it. Someone in the comments above made an interesting point though that Liberty is based on Motorola builds, so they’d need to wait for Moto to release ICS for D3 first.

I need to do that for my OG, where did you get the file to load? I looked back in DL and found those old rooting guides but it said you had to be running older releases of android to run those. Is that the case or can I just find a stock 2.2 and load it?
