I have cm7 loaded on my droid 3, and I hate to admit for the the cons of this rom outweigh the pro’s

First the cons:

-Having trouble with the bluetooth signal, didn’t have it before I loaded it
-I can’t view my e-mails or text like I use to, use to have the widgets on my screen to show me my messages.
-Data seems to run all the time, good thing it came with a toggle, but I haven’t found a way for it to turn off automatically like the stock blur did.

pro’s
-great speed improvements, everything is running faster on this rom. though it seems the stock browsers is faster then the dolphin browser for some reason
-Much more customization, makes for some fun time

Interesting, considering that the Milestone 3 is the GSM version. Maybe the Droid is the world version?

Couldn’t you import one? I think you could import any version, as the droid 3 is a world phone. At least, I was able to use it in the UK with a pre-paid sim card.

want. It’s a shame that Droid 3 (or Milestone 3 – the GSM equivalent) is not avail in the UK. So I stuck on Desire Z.

this is good news! i am happy for those of you who own a droid 3… But, I’ll bet there are issues such as the camera not working properly and whatnot. Which is a problem of the phone being completely locked down. I am really hoping that Google’s purchase of Moto will remedy this nonsense (there is absolutely no excuse for encrypting the bootloader, and I will not contribute to a device like that)…. Not trying to troll. Moto’s build quality is amazing, and as soon as they make devices with unlocked bootloaders, I will be purchasing it without hesitation. But until then, I just don’t get why anyone who loves android would not want to vote with their wallet and not contribute to nonsense locking of a bootloader. It does anger me.

Hello Droid 3, I’ll leave this as an option phone if nothing better coming out or waiting to see how the Nexus Prime specs will be like, and can’t wait to root!
