Me thinks it has more to do with the camera app instead of the hardware itself. 3rd party camera apps for the Bionic take clear pictures wicked fast….so yeah :D

Let’s stop with the nitpicking huh? It takes about 3 seconds to start up, I just timed it.

Btw, I installed the MIUI camera app on mine and it takes shots and focuses almost instantly.
