It says that it is a phone. I would love to have a 7″ galaxy tab that could also make calls via bluetooth! Smart phone and tablet all in one.

Personally I don’t get wifi only tablets. Whats the use case for them? I use my tablets when out on business and at meetings most importantly. Or on the street or in transit. Without connection it’s useless. At home I got the computer. I do use one for the bed but that’s cause it got retired from the ‘away from home tablet’ status.

After using the dual core GT10.1, the speed is awesome…and after reading the article on quad core, that will be even more awesome! So if you held out this long, might as well wait for the quad cores. Ill give my 10.1 to my brother or someone when I eventually upgrade

What we need is a Honeycomb 3.2 from Samsung in a 7″ form factor that retails for $300 or less. Otherwise, buy the 10.1″ or wait for someone else to make one you like.

They might even sell well slightly above $300 because of the Super AMOLED+ screen.

Aside from the slower 800MHz single core, it’s a great little tablet. SetCPU can take care of the speed to some degree though.

I would buy a 7inch tablet, but not a carrier specific one (I prefer WiFi only).

I would not mind smaller 4G tablet options on Verizon. My Tab 10.1 is nice, but I may consider a bit smaller choice to more easily carry.

Considering I dont mind being on contract with Verizon, if it is the 7″ tablet, I will have no choice but to pick it up for my wife.
