Yeah, I’ve considered the fact that the Bionic is likely to have better build quality and the notification light, but stock Android sounds pretty fantastic and a 720p HD SAMOLED+ beats qHD. Also, its not that I love Sense 3.5 because I actually don’t like it much at all from a visual perspective, but HTC now has the unlocked bootloader policy which means I can swap it out if I so desire. Motorola has no such thing, although I am optimistic if the Google takeover goes through (which it should). Its not that I’m really going to regret getting the Bionic, its just that I’ll likely be looking at other upcoming phones with envy.

..woohooo.,.I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37" HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use CentHub.cōm

People need to realize that bleeding edge technology isn’t for everyone, and some people will always take a lower-cost solution over device performance. My dad won’t even adopt text messaging still to this day because it will cost him an extra $5 a month on his plan (my friend was even getting him a discount on it!) and he’s sitting on over $1M in investments, so it’s not like he doesn’t have the money.

The Droid 1 IS a good device, it’s just old and outdated now. It’s time for it to be put to pasture but it would still make a good PMP.

what you SHOULD do is just put CM7 on your Droid2, realize it’s an amazing rom and makes your phone perform as though it’s an entirely new device, and just sit on that for a while until a dual-core LTE slider version (Droid4?) comes out when you are actually available for an upgrade, that’s my plan, and mmm CM7, I’m completely satisfied with my Droid2 now, and love having basically the best ROM out there on any phone, new or old.

Actually I can live without the 4G, but it could be nice to have a full GB of RAM and access to the weptop apps… guess we’ll have to wait for the Droid 4 or maybe D3+ in a few months (don’t dare to kill Droid line Moto/google)
